Commentaires : | C.A. Atherely was the Bandmaster for the 1st Royal Irish Regiment. Gale & Polden Ltd. , a well known London printing and publishing firm, operated from 1868 to 1991. They moved into their Aldershot Factory on Wellington St. in 1893. Military publications were a main focus from early on in the company's history. Gale and Polden's first major contract was to print the Garrison Directory for the Headquarters of the Chatham Military District. |
