Commentaires : 1910-1914 were the 'boom' years for the fox industry. Buyers from Paris, New York, nearly all over the world would come to Summerside to purchase the new fashion in fur, the silver fox. In 1920 , the Canadian National Silver Fox Breeders Association was formed to help meet the needs of the domesticated silver fox breeders. A more efficient registration and marketing structure was needed to ensure the sale of these lucrative pelts.
