Description : | One snowy owl mounted on two metal pieces which enter his feet. The owl has an open wing spand. Head turned to viewers right. The owl's tail is missing, and seems to have been in that state since the time of it's donation. |
Commentaires : | A Mr. Cedric Cooper had a hunting and fishing camp in Kingsclear on the St. John River, which is where this piece was originally from. This taxidermy piece was preserved in the late Victorian style, using large amounts of arsenic and therefore, it is recommended that these pieces be stored behind glass |
