Description : | A very large Grandfather clock, a very dark brown, looks black nearly. The top is square shaped where clock is, a glass door opens, the numbers are roman numerals, it says "Porter Workingham" on face of clock. It has a number at 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes. Below clock face the wood has a wide lip, and narrows down; the middle section is rectangular shaped, and has a door that locks when door is open; there's a clanger and weights on a chain, the door still has a key to it. The very bottom of clock widens out sideways, but still in a rectangular shape. The wood is cut fancy at bottom and very top of clock. The clock, weight, and key are marked. Made of oak, 1740. |
