| Description: | A quilt featuring a zig-zag pattern. The pattern is achieved by first creating blocks that are made from two strips of material, one white and one coloured, each strip being twice as long as it is wide so as to create a square block. The blocks are then arranged in alternating directions to create a continuous zig-zag traversing the quilt diagonally. The coloured materials are pale pinks, yellows and blues with some floral patterns. The quilt is heavily worn with some holes and stains. |
