What follows is a transcription of a hand-written page about the Centennial Friendship Quilt. "This quilt was made for the Centennial year 1967. Many ladies across Canada pieced, embroidered, and signed each block. It somehow arrived in Sussex N.B. and put in the Sharing Club. Our departed UCW Member of Carsonville, Head of Millstream, brought it home. Mrs. Helen Karth, a faithful volunteer at the Sharing Club thought this quilt tap, although somewhat tattered should be saved. This past winter our UCW ventured to repair and quilted this tap, and we are very pleased with our efforts. We are hoping someone will recognize some of the names and give us some information or suggestions as to what shall we do with it.
