| Description : | A multi grey coloured folding frame with a light grey matte. There is a decorative border around the photograph. A dark haired woman with dark eyes is wearing an off white floor length dress with a train. She has a finger top veil with a decorative stand up head dress. A bouquet of roses is in her left arm and she has a necklace around her neck. The groom has dark eyes and hair with a receding hair line. He is wearing a dark suit, dark tie, light shirt with stripes. He has two medals on his suit - one on his breast pocket and the other on his lapel. |
| Commentaires : | A wedding photograph of Stephanie Mary Eads and William Rainsford Lutes . Stephanie is believed to be the first war bride to be married in the Moncton area having come from England prior to her marriage. They were married on March 23, 1945, at Highfield United Baptist Church, 290 St. George Street, Moncton, New Brunswick (corner of Highfield and St. George St.). They were married by Reverend Ned Miller, a cousin to William on his mother's side. Allen and Esther(Hawkes) Lutes were best man and bridesmaid. |
