| Description : | A rectangle shaped gray stone with the front being painted red. There is raised lettering on the front, craved from the stone. The painting on the front surface and lettering is chipped. |
| Commentaires : | The original No. 1 Fire Station on Mechanic Street was destroyed by fire on September 7, 1915 along with Duffy's Livery Stable, Moncton Curling Rink, Mark's Carriage Factory and Moncton Transcript warehouse. A fire station was re-built on the same site in 1915. The station later moved to McLaughlin c.1960. |
