| Description : | The background is blue in colour. There are 33 white boxes, each enclosed by a red boarder. The lettering in each box is blue in colour except for the larger middle square that has red lettering. Near the bottom of the quilt are white rectangles with red lettering. There are 3 rectangles at the top but only one that expands the width of the boxes at the bottom. |
| Commentaires : | The quilt made by the women's club of the first Presbyterian church to commemorate the visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth on their visit to Moncton New Brunswick on June 13,1939. In each white square are names of people from the City of Moncton and when they served on council. |
| Fonctions : | The quilt was originally donated to the Moncton Hospital by members of the St. Andrews (Presbyterian) Church Women's club The quilt was then donated in 1973 to the Moncton Museum by the Moncton Hospital with the consent of the St. Andrew's Church women's club. |
