| Description: | A gold coloured key. The head of the key is wider at the top that gradually narrows towards the middle and then turns in and narrows again. The key part that goes into the door is smooth on one side with the other side having many ridges. |
| Narrative: | The Moncton Civic Museum was opened in 1973 on the corner of Mountain Road and Belleview Avenue in Moncton, New Brunswick. The facade of the building was the former facade of Moncton City Hall on Main Street which was demolished in 1971 to make way for a new city hall and plaza. |
| History of Use: | This key was used as the offical key for the opening of the Moncton Civic Museum on June 28, 1973. |
