Description : a pair of miniature portraits on ivory; the gentleman wears a red tunic with high blue collar and white stock. he has a fair complexion, slight sideburns and curly hair, gold epaulettes, frogs, buttons and badge of a lancaster regiment. he is the father of lt. john lister who settled at prince william circa 1810. his wife is in blue, has dark curly hair, pearl earrings, pearl necklace and a pine and belt clasp. the backgrounds of both are tinted.the lady is the mother of john lister.
