| Description : | a homemade cane or walking stick made of white ash and very simply constructed. the shaft has been roughly whittled out and a round brass tip attached to the end. the whittled round handle is rabbeted into the shaft and nailed with severn wire nails. traces of shellac finish are visible. a crude item which will be approriate once the late nails are replaced. |
