| Description : | the design is made using one single diamond shaped piece repeated to form a three dimensional design looking like tumbling blocks. each block contains three different value of colour, dark, medium and light pieces. in this quilt the dark pieces are black and the medium and light pieces are arranged in rows lengthwise of the quilt. all pieces are made of silk and hand sewn throughout. the black satin borders are 9-10 cm wide. there is no batt in this type of quilt. it is backed with black cotton sateen.
