The lower end of each cheek is rounded and has an eye hole through which the wooden blade supports are insertted. The stretcher bar is a rectangular piece of wood with all four corners beveled and a rectangular projection at either end which fit into the indentations in the cheeks. The tensioning cord is made of a piece of rope with four strands. The toggler stick is a piece of wedge shaped wood with an indentation on either side near the top. The tensioning cord sits on these two indentations. The blade has three teeth per inch (5 teeth per 4.0cm) and is 54.0cm long and 1.6cm tall. It is held in place by means of a small nail through the blade and wooden slot at each end. The slotted pieces of wood which hold the blade in place are round where they are inserted through the cheeks, but oval shaped where they extend beyond the holes in the cheeks. The round portions, with the slot are 1.1cm in diameter. The oval pieces are 2.7cm tall. Measurements: 47.5cm x 68.0cm x 2.5cm.
