Description: | Silver Metal Stamped coffin plate. A rectangle with 4 smaller rectangles attached to it. The smaller rectangles are centred one on each side with a flower on it. The rectangles on the left and right sides have holes punched into them. The main rectangle has decorative flowers in each of the corners. The plate reads "Matthew Henry Matthews, Born, Dec 15th 1840, Died, Dec 28th 1881." On the reverse on each side it reads, 'Patented Feb 21st, 1871. |
History of Use: | Matthew Henry Matthews was Robertson Matthews' father, and a minister. |
