Description :	Over and under scale made of cast aluminum.
Fonctions :	Scale, used by Christine Hider for cooking. The Smith Scale Co., manufacturer of the Exact Weight Scales, was "organized in 1916, for the purpose of making scales under the patents of Walter Standish Smith." Smith later changed its name to Exact Weight Scale Co., was in Columbus, OH and was in business at least until 1973 as evidenced by patents assigned to the company. This Under and Over Scale was most likely manufactured in the 1920s to the 1940s and is made of cast aluminum.. Sold in Canada by the E.W Scale Company of Toronto. Similar to Canadian Patent Document 286501 for which the patent was issued January 15th, 1929.
