Description: A heavy cardboard box covered with brown paper, it has a white label printed in black on the centre of the top and a white and green label on the short ends. The top label reads: Open in yellow or very subdued daylight/ VELOX/ Directions enclosed./ Manufacturered only by/ Kodak Limited/ London. Stamped on top of the lid is: D.H. Munro/Trade?/?? Edinburgh. The green label reads: Vigorous Glossy/ VELOX/ High Glaze Surface/ For use with flat negatives. The box contains 81 glass lantern-slide transparencies and a typewritten pages titled "Lecture on Scotland." Some of the slides are black-and-white photographic prints and some are colourized black-and-white photographic prints. They have black paper covering the edges and most have a white margin on which a title is written.

Mostof the slides of Scotland have two sets of numbers; the number used here is the one on the circle sticker. Most of the titles are handwritten in black ink. The slide titles are :
