Description: Twenty seven commemorative ribbons/Sangerfest ribbons:

.1) burgundy satin ribbon has black printing "CONCORDIA/ MAENNERCHOR/ BERLIN".

.2) missing (Dec/01)

.3) white satin ribbon has black printing "SAENGER PICNIC/ HAMILTON, ONT. /17ten JULI, 1899".

.4) purple ribbon has gold printing (faded) "LAKE ERIE/ AND /CANADIAN/ SAENGERFEST/ WATERLOO/ ONTARIO/ AUGUST 12, 13, 14, 1902".

.5) ivory satin ribbon has three narrow ribbons, red, white and black, attached to the top edge with a safety pin threaded the seam. Printed in black on the ivory ribbon is "(image of a woman in armour standing on a battlement)/ GERMAN SOCIETIES / 1889".

.6) biege satin ribbon has a badge and a smaller ribbon attached to the top and a smaller badge attached to the bottom edge of the smaller ribbon. On the top badge is a wreath of leaves around lyre. On the smaller bade is a flag of Germany. Printed in gold letter on the larger ribbon is "HARMONIE/ WATERLOO/ ONTARIO".

.7) light blue satin ribbon has burgundy printing "(lyre) / HARMONIE/ WATERLOO".

.8) red, white and navy satin ribbon has a small bow of the same colours attached to the top by a badge with black printing "ORPHEUS GESANDVEREIN/ WATERLOO, ONT."

.9) white grosgrain ribbon has narrow satin edges and black printing "SAENGERFEST / WATERLOO/ AUGUST / 20th, 21st, 22nd, / 1890".

.10) off white coloured ribbon has purple fringe at one end and gold lettering "ORPHEUS BERLIN".

.11) narrow cream coloured ribbon has black printing "ORPHEUS, WATERLOO".

.12) white satin ribbon has dark blue crest at the top with printing "ADVANCE/ COMMERCE/ PRUDENCE/ INDUSTRY". Below the crest is red and blue printing "11th /PENINSULAR/ SAENGERFEST/ (three crossed flags, Canada, United States of America and ?) / HAMILTON/ CANADA/ AUSUST 18 to 21, 1891".

.13) blue satin ribbon is attached to a metal badge at the bottom and to a bar with a pin at the top. Printed in black on the badge is "30TH/ DIRIGENT/ SAENGERFEST", and in gold on the ribbon "BUFFALO, N.Y./ JUNE 20-26, 1901". Printed in gold on the back of the ribbon along the top edge is "WHITEHEAD & HOAG Co./ NEWARK, NEW JERSEY".

.14) three satin ribbons layered one on top of the other with black on the bottom, then white followed by red are pointed at the bottom end and attached together and held with a rosette of red, white and black ribbons with a small gold star in the centre.The black ribbon has a gold fringe has a gold fringe at the bottom point and the red ribbon has two gold tassles at the bottom point. There is a small gold star sewn on to the red ribbon just below the rosette. Printed in black on the red ribbon is "WATERLOO/ LIEDERTAFEL, ONT.". A safety pin has been sewn on to the back of the rosette.

.15) ivory satin ribbon has a rosette sewn on to the top edge with a gold star in the centre. Printed in gold on the ribbon is "JPENINSULAR SAENGERFEST/ BAY CITY, MICH. / 1894", and on a small cream coloured plastic diamond sewn on to the ribbon just below the rosette is "DIRIGENT".

.16) ivory satin ribbon has a blue, white and red silk rosette attached to the top edge with a gold star in the centre.. Printed in blue on the ribbon is "9. SANGERFEST/ DES/ PENINSULAR/ SAENGERBUND/ am 9., 10., 11. & 12. JULI 1889/ DETROIT, MICH./ DIRIGENT".

.17) ribbon/badge has a red, white and blue ribbon threaded through a ring on the top of a metal disc and attached to a bar with a pin on the back. On the disc is coloured picture of a temple which is surrounded by leaves and writing "ASTRA / CASTRA / NUMEN / LUMEM", and below the temple is "MACCABEE TEMPLE". Printed in silver on the ribbon is "BERLIN / FEB. 27-28, 1901". On a paper label on the bar is printed "K.O.T.M. / REPRESENTATIVE". (KOTM Knights of the Maccabees).

.18) orange silk ribbon has black printing "LIEDERTAFEL, WATERLOO, CANADA./ 7. PENINSULAR GANGERFEST/ ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN, AUGUST, 1886".

.19) red satin ribbon has a black and white bow attached at the top edge. Printed in gold on the red ribbon is "HARMONIC/ WATERLOO". A safety pin has been sewn on to the back of the bow.

.20) orange satin ribbon has black printing "DIRIGENT/ 3 WOLFTES/ PENINSULAR/ SANGERFEST/ am / 4., 5. und 6. AUGUST '96 / in / LANSING, MICH.".

.21) red/pink grosgrain ribbon has black printing 'DEUTSCHER/ SAENGERBUND/ BUFFALO, N.Y.".

.22) red satin ribbon has a gold fring on the bottom edge and gold printing "(crest in the middle with printing on the top) CANADIAN/ SAENGERBUND (on the bottom)", and "SAENGERFEST / TORONTO/ SEPT. 9. 10. 11. 1895/ PASS TO ALL ENTERTAINMENTS/ IN CONNECTION WITH FESTIVAL" (missing Aug/02)

.23) two narrow pink ribbons lying side by side and slightly overlapping at the top, have a red, white and blue bow tied with a U.S.A. flag, at the top. Black printing on one pink ribbon is "HEIGHTS MAENNERCHOR", and on the other is "CLEVELAND, OHIO".

.24) irory satin ribbon has a red, pink, blue and mauve silk ribbon rosette attached to the top edge with a safety pin sewn on the back. A gold fringe is attached to the bottom edge. There is a second ivory satin ribbon underneath the first ribbon with black printing. The top ribbon has dark blue crest at the top with printing "ADVANCE/ COMMERCE/ PRUDENCE/ INDUSTRY". Below the crest is red and blue printing "11th /PENINSULAR/ SAENGERFEST/ (three crossed flags, Canada, United States of America and ?) / HAMILTON/ CANADA/ AUSUST 18 to 21, 1891". On the bottom ribbon is "THE BADGE ATTACHED TO THIS IS COYRIGHTED AND AUTHORISED .........../ ...... / CHAIRMAN, FINANCE COMMITTEE". (missing 08/02)

.25) red, white and black grosgrain ribbon has a pointed bottom edge and an Ontario flag made into a bow, attached to the top edge with a safety pin sewn on the back. Printed in black on the white part of the ribbon is "LIEDERKRANZ, TORONTO".

.26-27) ) two white silk ribbons have black printing "LAKE ERIE/ AND/ CANADIAN/ SAENGERFEST/ WATERLOO/ ONTARIO/ AUGUST 12 th, 13th, 14th, 1902".
