The Queen Mother is dressed in a teal jacket with matching hat. She is also wearing a pair of white gloves, a white purse, and white open toe sling back pumps. Around her neck is a pearl necklace. Behind the Queen Mother stand men from the Toronto Scottish Regiment, wearing brown military style uniforms. |
| Fonctions : | The Queen Mother visited Canada from June 29 to July 2nd 1979. She spent three days in Halifax and four days in Toronto. The Queen Mother had her departure ceremony at Toronto International Airport inside an Air Canada 747 Hanger located on Airport Road in Malton. She departed to London aboard a Canadian Forces Boeing 707. This photograph shows the Queen Mother arriving at Toronto International Airport in Malton, on her way to the Queens Plate that was held at Woodbine Race Track. |
