The Queen Mother and the gentleman are standing on a red carpet, while unidentified people are lined up behind them. There is also a group of men from the Toronto Scottish Regiment dressed in brown military style uniforms at the far end of the airport hanger. |
| Fonctions : | The Queen Mother visited Canada from June 29 to July 2nd 1979. She spent three days in Halifax and four days in Toronto. The Queen Mother had her departure ceremony at Toronto International Airport inside an Air Canada 747 Hanger located on Airport Road in Malton. She departed to London aboard a Canadian Forces Boeing 707. This photograph shows the Queen Mother arriving at Toronto International Airport in Malton, on her way to the Queens Plate that was held at Woodbine Race Track. |
