Description : A colour photograph with small rounded corners. Photograph of the Queen Mother accepting a bouquet of flowers from a little girl during her arrival in Malton. The Queen Mother is wearing a teal, knee length jacket with a blue flower printed dress underneath and a teal coloured hat. She has a string of white pearls around her neck, matching her white gloves and purse. Standing in the background and near the Queen Mother are members of the Toronto Scottish Regiment, wearing brown military style uniforms with matching coloured kilts. The unidentified little girl is wearing a white printed floral summer dress with ruffled sleeves and small white gloves.
Fonctions : The Queen Mother visited Canada from June 29 to July 2nd 1979. She spent three days in Halifax and four days in Toronto. The Queen Mother had her departure ceremony at Toronto International Airport inside an Air Canada 747 Hanger located on Airport Road in Malton. She departed to London aboard a Canadian Forces Boeing 707.
