| Description : | A colour photograph with small rounded corners. Photograph of a Canadian Armed Forces Boeing 747 aircraft after landing in the airport in Malton. The aircraft is white with a long red stripe along the side. "CANADA" is written in the middle of the aircraft while a red maple leaf encircled inside a blue border is found near the nose of the airplane. |
| Fonctions : | The Queen Mother visited Canada from June 29 to July 2nd 1979. She spent three days in Halifax and four days in Toronto. The Queen Mother had her departure ceremony at Toronto International Airport inside an Air Canada 747 Hanger located on Airport Road in Malton. She departed to London aboard a Canadian Forces Boeing 707. This photograph shows the Queen Mother arriving at Toronto International Airport in Malton, on her way to the Queens Plate that was held at Woodbine Race Track. |
