Description : A colour photograph with small rounded corners. Photograph of the Queen Mother's arrival inside an airport hanger in Malton. The Queen Mother is wearing a teal coloured, knee length coat and a matching hat. She is also wearing a pair of white gloves, white open toe sling back pumps and is carrying a white purse. The Queen Mother is standing at the bottom of the aircraft stairs and is shown shaking the hand of an unknown gentleman.
Fonctions : The Queen Mother visited Canada from June 29 to July 2nd 1979. She spent three days in Halifax and four days in Toronto. The Queen Mother had her departure ceremony at Toronto International Airport inside an Air Canada 747 Hanger located on Airport Road in Malton. She departed to London aboard a Canadian Forces Boeing 707.

This photograph shows the Queen Mother arriving at Toronto International Airport in Malton, on her way to the Queens Plate that was held at Woodbine Race Track.
