Description : | Pair of dehaired barked reindeer skin boots. Dehaired barked bull reindeer skin sole extends up to the vamp and side panels, the heel is formed with a T-seam. Toe curls up into a pointed peak. The vamp extends from the toe to the top of the boot. The boot is attached with boot straps with a loop sewn into each vamp seam at the ankle. Loops are made by twisting a narrow strip of barked skin. Barked but no tar on skins. Extra piece of sinew placed over the seam when stitching from the loops along the seam to the tip of the toe. A barked skin welt is placed along the same area. Leg panel is sewn to vamp and sole with the seam allowance folded back on the outside and then the seams top stitched in place with an extra thread placed over the leg-sole seam. |
