| Description : | Wayne Gretzky print and postcard commemorating his single season Goal scoreing record. The photo is in the upper portion of the frame, it is of Wayne Gretzy in his Oilers uniforming grimacing as he skates towards the camera. A postcard is located in the center. On its left side their is a golden leaf frame, broken only at the bottom by the words "Scoring Record Postcard". Wayne Gretzky's signature is found within this box. On the opposite side of the postcard in the upper right corner is a USA postage stamp. There is a postage ink stamp in the centre that says "Buffalo, Ny. Feb. 24, 1982 142). At the bottom of the right side is a small paragraph reading "IN A FINAL 6 1/2 MINUTE, THRID PERIOD SCORING RAMPAGE AGAINST THE BUFFALO SABRES, EDMONTON OILER STAR WAYNE GRETZKY NETTED HIS 77TH, 78TH, 79TH GOALS SMASHING THE NHL SINGLE-SEASON GOAL SCORING RECORD WITH PHIL ESPOSITO, EDMONTON DEFEATED BUFFALO, 6-3." Below the postcard at the bottom of the frame is a gold plaque reading "Postmarks of History/ Wayne Gretzky/ Single-season goal scoring record/ Feb. 24, 1982 |
