Description : Has four drawer dresser. Has solid mahogany sides and molded edge top. Drawers have mahogany veneer applied to the pine which is the secondary wood. The case is mounted on turned mahogany feet. Retains the original mahogany pulls and brass key escutcheons.
Commentaires : The donor received this piece from his father Melvin Wallace who lived in Saint John. Melvin was a Commissioner of Justice and Commissioner of Oaths. He lived and worked in St. Martins. Bob Park's grandmother's name was Hanna Melvin. The Parke family is Loyalist coming from New Jersey. This piece was in the family since 1926.
