Fonctions : Jack" was the last horse on the ireland farm. He was 25 years old when he passed away.

Charles Tupper Ireland was born on 17 January 1883 in Ireland House, the ninth child born to John and Eliza Ireland. Also known as Tuppy, he married Mary Jane (Daisy) Allen on 15 April 1917 in Burlington. Daisy was born on 2 May 1887. They had their only child, Helen Mary, on 21 February 1918. Two years later, Daisy died following a flu epidemic. As Charles was also suffering from the flu when she died, Helen went to live with Charles' sisters. Charles died 30 December 1965.

Charles was a salesman for a washing machine company in Hamilton. After Daisy's death, Charles lived with his sisters and later, returned home to Ireland House. Charles had a close relationship with his niece, Marie, while his own daughter saw him more as an uncle.
