| Description: | A Gothic-style chair with dark brown wood and red fabric which has a leaf pattern on it. Back of chair is a pointed arch stle and has two crossed gavels engraved. The back also has 2 cut outs and there are various carvings on the back and apron. |
| Narrative: | Artifacts were used by the IOOF (Independent Order of Odd Fellows) which was established in Kentville in 1875 when a charter was granted to the Lodge, the called the Evangeline Lodge. Once this group ceased, the Hiawatha Lodge was established in 1891. The Lodge, located on River Street, continues to exist as of 2016. These artifacts were donated to the museum in 2009 when the Lodge downsized to a smaller meeting place. |
