Description :	Marble base with metal(?) plate and a rectangular column with a blue and silver starburst motif. Two silver pillar decorations on front with a laurel leaf emblem in the center and a female basketball player figurine in toss position on top.
Fonctions :	The first school on Academy, now School Street, opened in 1870. By the 1880's it was known as the Kings County Academy because it served the whole county. In June 2011 the "School on the Hill" closed in preparation for the move to a newly constructed facility. These trophies are from the original school.
