Description : Ladies fingerless lace gloves have a pattern of diamonds and two types of stripes. The top edges have pointed scallops. The gloves have an open thumb section.
Commentaires : These items were donated by Joanne MacGregor Bessonette Peill (1936- present). She is a long time member of the Kings Historical Society.The items in this collection belonged to various family members including: Maternal great-grandmother Mary. Andrew Dunlop Webster (1826-1910) married to Jean McKenzie Morley Puncheon (1832-1890). (Jo's paternal great-grandparents). Robert Webster III(1822-1869), Jo's Great Uncle  is a brother of Andrew Dunlop Webster.  Robert Webster III was married to Modeska (who was Dutch extraction).  She was an American living in La Hoya, Californa. Grandmother Helen MacGregor MacWilliam (1870-1940) married William Morley Puncheon Webster (1869-1950).- (grandfather) His sister Sarah Webster (1859-1949). (Jo's great aunt) Mother is Jean MacGregor Webster (1910-1991) who married Lt. Col.John Rupert Wilson Turner Bessonette (1907-1944).- Father Joanne MacGregor Bessonette Peill( 1936- present) married E.W. Peill (1933-2001).(husband) Sister is Julie MacGregor Mary Bessonette.  
Fonctions : Collection donated by Joanne MacGregor Bessonette (b. 1936). She married Eberhard Wilfrid Peill (1933-2001) and settled in Port Williams, Nova Scotia to raise their family. She is charter member and long time volunteer of the Kings Historical Society. These gloves belonged to Joanne's grandmother, Helen MacGregor MacWilliam Webster.
