Description : Knit cotton stockings. Hem at top 4cm. Fancy stitch 14cm above heal. Fancy stitch on upper for to toe. 
Fonctions : These stockings were worn with Rose (Bell) Dunlop wedding dress (78.1.3,4), Milton N.S. in 1896. Donated be her granddaughter, Betty (Dunlop) Whalen.  Ross Bell married Hugh Dunlop on September 20, 1896. Rose was the daughter of Henry Bell, the blacksmith in Milton queens County. Hugh Dunlop was the harbour master in Liverpool. Rose's sister, Frances Freeman was the bridesmaid and wore a peacock blue taffeta dress. France's daughter, Edith, Married to Thomas Raddall would wear the peacock blue dress to the special teas at Perkins House, Liverpool.
