Description : | Heavily embroidered on the front right and left (embroidery is crewel), done in white cotton of linen. Also embroidered on two cuffs. The back has pleats going from shoulder to hem; the centre above the waist is gathered and sewn down there is a band in front. Infront above sleeve seam there is one pleat stitched; fully gathered from centre placket. Five hooks and eyes, one pleat on the left side to conceal closure; small stand up collar has three hand-stitched buttonholes (one in the centre back) sleeves have one seam, gathered; cuff with two cooks and ones on each. Separate Mandarin collar, lined with cotton, no fasteners and embroidered. Jacket not lined or boned. |
