Description : A black and white photograph with white borders of an outdoor wedding party. Standing from left to right are: Geoffrey Sayers, wearing formal coat tails; Kay Sayers wearing a long dark skirt, striped blouse and black, wide-brim hat; Mary Harris wearing dark clothes and a long white scarf; and Annie Sayers wearing a white, short-sleeved dress and white hat, holding a bouquet of flowers. There are trees in the background.
Fonctions : Photograph taken during Barbara Sayers wedding to Melville Gooderham on June 23, 1939.Geoffrey Sayers and his sisters, Dora Sayers Caro, and Barbara Sayers Larson donated Benares Historic House to the Ontario Heritage Foundation in 1969. It has operated as a museum under the City of Mississauga since 1995 and was officially transferred to Mississauga in 2000.
