| Description: | A wooden eight sided box held together with staples, used to hold berries. The hexagon bottom is made of thicker wood than the sides which are almost paper thin. |
| Narrative: | This hexagon box has somewhat higher sides than similar strawberry boxes and its believed it may have been used for gooseberries. The Puddington's farm used only horses for their farming up into the 1960's. The creator of this record purchased land from Ellis Puddington in the1977 built a home and lives there today, when he settled here Ellis gave him a couple of rhubarb plants saying every home needs a rhubarb plant. |
| History of Use: | This box came from the Puddington farm in Moss Glen, New Brunswick. The Puddington's brothers Ellis and Burpee operated a farm for their livelyhood, berries and rhubarb made up a large part of their farming. |
