| Description: | Folding measure, ruler, four folding six inch sections, hinges are brass and the ruler edges are lined with brass, one side of the ruler is in one eight inch while the other side is in one quarter inch measurements. One hinge folds the ruler at 12 inches and two hinges folds the ruler at six inches. |
| Narrative: | This folding ruler, a pocket ruler would have been a standard device for many farmers, carpenters and handy men. It folds to six inches so easily fits in pants or overhauls pockets. There are no manufacture markings to identify the maker, research shows "Stanley" made a lot of these circa 1920. |
