| Narrative: | The EVERLUSTRE stocking company of England was a large textile company. Their various hosiery collection were very popular in the 1920's. This pair of stockings were given to May Wood from Stan and Emily Whelpey as a Christmas gift, the attached gift tag reads Joyous Christmas, To May from Stan and Emily. At the top of the stockings there is a tag "Service Suggestions" which gives suggestions on how to put the stockings on along with washing and care instructions. |
