| Description : | The artifact is a wooden box with slightly larger wooden base and top. On the top of the box there are two black bells in a rounded dome shape. |
| Commentaires : | The telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876. It originally used a hand crank to create enough power for the telephone to function. This type of phone would have connected to an operator who would then connect the caller to their destination via hard wire. Today more than six billion people use a telephone, either by land line or cellular phone. |
