| Description : | A black and white portrait of Frank Carrel, former president of the LHSQ. The picture is protected in front by a panel of glass and a beige cardboard matting. In the back, a section of corrugated cardboard (held with nails) backs teh picture. The frame si made of wood. A brass plate reading : " Hon. Frank Carrel, LL.D.' L., H., C., President of the Literary and Historical Society of Quebec, 1930-1934" is nailed under the picture. The name of the photographer ("Blank & Stoller, Montreal) is written at the bottom left of the portrait. A metal wire is strung across the back of the frame. Fragments of paper backing still cling to the back of the frame. |
