Commentaires : | Tourism is defined as travel for recreational, leisure or business purposes. In Newfoundland in the early and mid twentieth century, there was a push to try and get tourists and visitors onto the island. With the recent addition of the railroad and the services of the coastal boats, the government wanted to attract more visitors. Many documents were created and distributed by the Newfoundland Tourist Commission geared towards visitors, particularly for hunting and fishing. |
