Description : | It is a sepia toned photograph of diesel engines at a train station. The engines are in the center of the photograph with 'CN' inscribed on the side of the engine in the foreground. There is a white building in the background and power lines running through the top of the picture. |
Commentaires : | Diesel locomotives are trains where the prime mover is a diesel engine. The diesel engine came to replace locomotive steam engines. The diesel engine eventually evolved to include the dual usage of both diesel fuel and electricity in many countries around the world in the early twentieth century. |
