Description : This medal is on a red, blue and white cotton ribbon. On the medal is a head in profile facing left with a crown and latin surrounding it. On the back of the medal is a lion standing on a two headed dragon; one head is a dragon and the other is an eagle. On the front fo the medal is a line on the left side. On the back of the ribbon is a piece of black rubber and two posts.
Commentaires : Collected and donated by Major Walter Muray.
Fonctions : Awarded to all full-time personnel of the armed forces and merchant marines for serving 28 days between 3 September 1939 and 2 September 1945. In the Merchant Navy the 28 days musy have been at sea.
