This stained glass window was put in place at the Riverside-Albert home of Abner Reid McClelan, the Lt. Governor of New Brunswick from 1896 to 1902. This house was in 1893 and is now known as Victoria Manor. McClelan (1831-1917) was born in Hopewell, New Brunswick and was a civil servant and a representative of Albert prior to Canadian Confederation. He was appointed a Canadian Senator from 1867 to 1896. |
