| Description : | The case is made of wood that is covered in a thin leather covering. The covering is 2 toned with black on the sides and beige on the top and bottom. The leather covering is attached to the wooden body of the case with small iron tacks. The top of the case opens on 2 steel hinges. There is a handle that is plastic and attached to the front of the case with iron bolts. There is a hand crank that extends outward about 9 cm in the front of the case which is made of stainless steel with a plastic knob at the end. There is an iron closure on the right side of the case. When the case is opened there is a circular turn table that is 22.5 cm in diameter which is covered in velvet. (this is where the record would sit.) There is a steel projection that extends out from the case which is the speaker for the record when it is played. On the lid of the case there is a small leather strap that is attached on one end to the lid and has a snap on the other to attach to the lid of the case. |
