| Description : | Stack of stickers made to be used as merchandise tags at the Sackville Harness Shop. Stickers are round with a scalloped edge. The stickers are red with white lettering. Around the outside of the circle it reads SACKVILLE HARNESS, LIMITED SACKVILLE, N.B. In the middle of the sticker is the Sackharn Trademark, followed by WHOLESALE MANUFACTURERS OF HARNESS AND COLLARS There is then a blank white space to where the size of the product can be written in. The adhesive on the back of the stickers is very dry and consequently some of the stickers in the stack have become detached. |
| Commentaires : | Founded in 1919, the Sackville Harness Shop handmade a variety of quality leather goods before its closure in May 2021 with the retirement of its longtime owner and leather craftsman Bill Long. The harness shop was famous for its harnesses, along with its straw-stuffed horse collars. In later years, the shop branched out into making belts, bags, and boots. |
