| Description : | The four paintings in this proposed gift are part of a series of works completed by Nova Scotian artist Colleen Wolstenholme in the mid-2000s. The series combined images based on the official camouflage patterns of three countries (Great Britain, the United States of America, and Finland), a camouflage pattern (as opposed to the variant colours within it) generated by Andy Warhol, and images from a soft-core pornography website dedicated to images of women in lingerie. |
