Commentaires : | The house was originally built by Thomas Bonnell, circa 1900. The house was situated initially in the center of the community near what is known today as Cooler Lane in Lamaline. The house survived the tidal wave of 1929. In the winter of 1957 the house was moved to the upper area of Lamaline East. This was done with the help of men in the community by towing the structure with rope and logs through the various meadows. In the spring of that year, renovations were made to the original structure by adding a second itchen and 2 bedrooms. The oriignal house consisted of a parlour, kitchen with pantry and 3 bedrooms. |
