| Description : | The photograph is a black and white image of the destruction caused by the 1929 tidal wave at Point aux Gaul. The picture shows three structures that have been damaged by the tidal wave. The structure in the middle is no longer intact, only the roof remains visible on the ground. The structure located in the left of the picture appears to be a relatively undamaged building which is the barn of William Walsh. To the right of the photograph there is a cod oil factory that appears to be leaning to one side. |
