| Description : | A hand-made steel engraving. The picture is of three women. The first lady is standing and wearing a green and white dress with a red and white bonnet, pointing to the second. The 2nd lady is sitting holding the right hand of the 3rd girl. She is wearing a blue and white dress, with a blue and white bonnet. The 3rd girl is wearing a green dress, with bluw boots and sitting down staring out of the picture. 'Anais Coudouge'. 'Desjardins' and '25 Juillet 1851' are written in black along the bottom of the picture. Below this is the title in black lettering 'MAGASIN DES DEMOISELLES' . Below this are 3 lines of French writing, with 'Bureaux du Journal, 51, rue Laffitte' and 'PARIS' printed below this. The frame is gold and white. The back is covered with brown paper. There are 2 rings halding a length of metal wire to hang up the picture. length 35.0 cm and width 26.7 cm. Ph1 2006 |
