| Description: |
A metal tonsil guillotine as identified in Bennion 1986:108. A round handle attached to a thin metal rod which has two sharp points at the end. This rod is attached to another rod through screws and hinges and when the round handle is pushed forward so are the two sharp metal points. The metal points only go as far as an oval shaped circle attached to the end of the instrument. Midway up the rod of the object are two round finger handles attached on either side of the rod. The end oval and the sharp points are tarnished. PH3 2008
