Description : A black cast iron, wood burning heater. The top is flat without a porthole in the top. The flue collar is 12.0 cm in diameter. '20' is embossed in the front of the former. It looks as if a metal plate top, which should come away from the top, has been replaced or conserved and welded shut. The walls of the stove are embossed with a design and are convex. At the front is a door, securede by two hinges and a latch. 'ABENDROTH BRO'S NEW YORK,' is embossed below the top lip at the front. A ashlip protrudes 18.0 cm out the front, which has an ash tray and ash tray lid in the bottom of it. There is a hole in the proper left side of this lip. The ash traymentioned is connected to the combustion chamber. Circa: 1870. See Mike Strong's description, Old Town Stove Works, pg 35. PH1 2006, PH2 2007
